Home Coming – A New Entry
A home’s entrance sends a message, whether formal like a handshake or warm like a hug, it greets guests and owners with the same message. Our clients bought a builder-grade development home in East Greenwich, RI. After taking care of some high priority remodeling (a new master bathroom and walk-in closet), the owners contacted Red House again to upgrade the front door & entry to the home.
The Final Product
The original entry door was leaking air and starting to rust. It didn’t live up to the aesthetic improvements the owners had made in other areas of the home and it no longer served its purpose to shelter and protect. Our design team added paneling above the new door and a center window feature in the foyer. These details created an elegant, yet warm entryway. A three-quarter glass door with a unique window pattern provides warm light and openness to the area. A renovated powder room with beautiful floral-patterned wallpaper finished out the space, giving the family and guests the proper reception this family home deserved.
